The Artistry

The body is hand-painted in rich emerald green, layered with copper crosshatching near the head, a row of dark blue tube beads, and scattered round beads in every color – yellow, purple, orange, pink. A turquoise bead and a gold flower cluster sit near the base. The curling tail is segmented with glass tube beads in purple, blue, green, red, and pink, ending at a silver star with an opal crystal at its tip. Mismatched eyes – one purple-pink, one red – give the face a watchful, knowing expression.
