At first glance, it’s a ladybug. Bright, cheerful, familiar. But look again. The left wing is warm stripes and a marble bead. The right wing is purple blooms and a turquoise flower. The legs spiral. The antennae end in blue and pink beads. Nothing matches, and everything belongs.

The Artistry
Each wing section is hand-painted in its own palette – warm oranges and reds on one side, cool purples and blues on the other. A striped marble bead sits inside a braided silver frame. A tiny turquoise flower blooms beside dotted crimson. Silver wire curls into spiral legs and antennae tipped with glass beads. The asymmetry is the whole point.
